Take some time to read this information before starting to use the administration of your forum:

How to access your administration panel ?
In the top menu, click on Log In, a new page is displayed. Fill in the username "admin" and the password you have choosen during your registration. If you have lost or forgot it, click here. Once you are logged in, click on the link "Administration Panel" at the bottom of the page.

How to modify your board’s appearance ?
You can modify your board’s appearance by choosing a theme (each theme displays different pictures, colors and icons). To do that, go to the administration panel, then click on Management in the Styles Admin menu and choose one of the displayed themes. You can later change it or choose another one.

How to manage the categories and forums ?
You can add, modify and delete the categories and forums that you have created anytime and without limit. To do that, go to the administration panel, in the management part of the Forum Admin, and click on "Add a link" (a forum or a category). In a first time, we advice you to create test categories and test forums that you will delete later, in order to understand how this tool works.

Auto Body Management Software

Post  Admin on Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:44 pm

Auto Body Management Software really does require integrated accounting with solid jobcosting. Body Shop Management Software without integrated accounting, like most of the systems out there, are so much more diffcult to use and are less accurate. Combined Computer Technology at www.softwarehero.com really does deliver a powerful and easy to operate piece of software. You can also find Auto Body Management Software at www.stuartmccoll.com . I've noticed there are all kinds of software out there, almost none that provide integrated accounting, and these guys selling the stuff tell you "It's not important" when the truth is they should be saying "I'm not good at bookeeping so our software just bridges out to Quickbooks". Pretty lame if you think about it. Bottom line is they create software for your shop that is good for them and their profitability, but not good for the body shop owner. And in the final insult to you the shop owner, they put some ridculous prices on their inferior software systems and tell you stuff like "Yes, this is definately worth $10,000".

CCT has been at it for over 15 years now. So they must have been doing something right. The software has been covered in the news recently as well, and here's a link to that.

That's the way I see it. Body Shop Owners deserve the very best software at best possible price.
